Anticipated Summer Positions - 2026 Summer Program

Position:       Summer Occupational Therapist(s)/COTA(s)/Physical Therapist(s)

Requirements:   MA Teaching Certification or Certifiable in Elementary, Special Education, etc.  

Qualifications:   Demonstrated experience working with students with special needs; Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive classroom environment, willingness to co-plan and co-teach; Strong communication skills with parents & staff; Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple services occurring within the operating program; Demonstrated knowledge of early elementary curriculum and demonstrated effective instructional practices.    Other qualifications as established by the District. 

Starting Date:        July 6, 2026 – August 6, 2026 (some positions may be assigned June 22, 2026 – August 21, 2026 or a

                                 variation of those dates)

Work Schedule:    Monday-Thursday 8:30 am – 12:00 pm with potential availability to work until 3:00 pm

Salary/

Stipend:               Current BHRSD employee:  hourly rate is based on current annual salary

Non BHRSD employee: the hourly rate will be calculated based on the per diem of the appropriate BHEA

Unit-A FY27 Salary Scale based on qualifications and experience.   FY27 Salary Schedule
