Position:                                 Licensed Practical Nurse(s)

                                       Monument Mountain Regional High School

                               

Requirements:             

Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Massachusetts.  Associates Degree required, Bachelor’s Degree preferred.  Graduate of accredited practical nurse program with current first aid/CPR certification. 

 

Qualifications:

Demonstrated success in supporting identified students in a substantially separate program, inclusion settings, and community-based settings:

• Ability to collaborate with special and general educators and community-based personnel to support individualized instructional programming.
• Ability to work with students who have seizure disorders under the guidance of an RN.
• Ability to work with students with a variety of disabilities including, but not limited to, autism, cognitive disabilities, communication disorders and significant medical needs.
• Ability to lift or transfer up to 60 pounds.

Demonstrated success communicating and working effectively with school and community-based teams including leading professional development activities and participation in IEP Team meetings: 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively to address concerns and resolve conflict in a professional courteous manner.

Valid driver’s license and ability to commute between buildings/programs during the day.  Ability and willingness to drive RISE van (as required by program).  Such alternatives to the above qualifications as established by the District.              

                                      

Start Date:      August 26, 2024 (Workday - 7/hr./day; School year position)
